The national airline of Egypt, Egyptair, announced Thursday the suspension of its flights to and from China, as a preventive measure against the outbreak of coronavirus. The company says that Hangzhou flights will stop from February 1st. While those from Beijing and Guangzhou will cease on February 4th, when the last group of Chinese tourists leaves Egypt.”
Flights will resume when the coronavirus situation stabilizes in the future. “This decision is to keep Egyptair cabin crew and customers safe and avoid the recently infected coronavirus in China and other countries,” the company explained.
