Royal Air Maroc to join Oneworld

Royal Air Maroc, the Moroccan national airline, is joining the Oneworld airline alliance.

The airline will officially become a full member of Oneworld on March 31, 2020. Royal Ari Maroc is the first African airline to become a full member of the Oneworld alliance.

With its network of more than 100 destinations in 49 countries, Royal Air Maroc will bring 34 new destinations and 21 countries to the alliance map, bringing the Oneworld network to 1,069 airports in 178 countries and territories.

The approval of the Royal Air integration follows a unanimous vote of the 13 current alliance member companies in December. With this vote, the members of Oneworld approved the evaluation of the projects undertaken by the national airline since December 2018, the date they Alliance extended an invitation to them.

Royal Air Maroc launched an extensive employee training program at all customer service positions, such as call centers, commercial agencies, before coming on board.
